Get to know me

In a nutshell – a celebrant, nurse, educator, adviser, wife of 30+ years, mother of two strapping lads, lover of music, dancing, food, wine, walks, travel and animals.

After many years as an infertility nurse, helping couples to create their families, I decided to make use of the skills I’d gained in supporting, counselling and guiding couples and embarked on a different path as a Civil Celebrant.

Whether you are planning a large wedding, an intimate gathering, a vow renewal, a naming ceremony or a celebration of life, I can work with you to create a cracking and deeply personal celebration.

Cool, calm and collected, there isn’t too much that will ruffle my feathers. You can have as little or as much input into your ceremony as you desire. Ceremonies will be entirely centred on you. Whether you want humour, romance or completely over-the-top, I will deliver an authentic, original and memorable ceremony that respects your occasion.

Located in the inner north of Melbourne and Central Victoria (Heathcote region), I’m happy to travel to wherever your celebration will be.

We get to know one another a bit
You decide if I’m the Celebrant for you and we book it in.
We can do the Notice of Intention to Marry at this stage. This needs to be done at least one month , and no longer than 18months before ceremony date.
Countdown starts

Ceremony planning (participants, rituals, readings, etc.) and organising legal bits and bobs
During this time, you have access to unlimited phone calls and emails.
I will write you a customised and unique ceremony (unless you want to write this yourselves!)
Meet with you again to run through everything and rehearse.
Lift off!

I’ll meet, greet, and guide your ceremony participants and guests and then deliver a knockout ceremony
We sign yet more bits of paper with your witnesses and you get a pretty certificate to say you’re married
I safely deliver all your documents to Births, Deaths and Marriages in your state…….
BOOM you are legally hitched!

Elopement

We say the necessary legal things (I can bring witnesses, if needed)

You exchange vows and any rituals (e.g. ring exchange) in front of up to 10 guests

Micro wedding

We meet and sign documents at least one month in advance
We say the necessary legal things
You take home a commemorative wedding certificate

Inspiration and support to plan the ceremony
